Institutional Research - Greg Harris, Kate Doria, Jon Daries
We are so grateful for the collaboration between CAPD and IR. We could not do our work on student outcomes without Greg, Kate and Jon. They are so knowledgeable and helpful, and it is truly a joy to collaborate with them. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make our work easier and to make the data available to those who need it. As one example, they have co-created and launched outcomes surveys, analyzed the outcomes and created Tableau dashboards for inclusion on our websites. Without them, I know I could not do my job! I cannot thank them enough!!!
Sue Acton, Office of Vice Chancellor
Manuscript Editorial
I would like to thank my department for maintaining their usual high standards and managing to keep their heavy workloads on track, throughout almost a year of working remotely. This has involved a lot of thinking and problem solving on the fly, to figure out best practices to make things work and not let details slip through the cracks. You make my job as easy as possible, team! A huge thank you to Deborah Cantor-Adams, Matt Abbate, Kathy Caruso, Marcy Ross, Ginny Crossman, Roger Wood, and Liz Agresta.
Judith Feldmann, MIT Libraries and MIT Press

Stephanie Martinovich
I am so thankful to Stephanie Martinovich, who will be moving on to the Civil Engineering Department next week after ten years with the Lemelson-MIT Program. Thank You Shelly

MIT Medical Urgent Care Team
There are numerous episodes of compliments and appreciation from patients to individual Urgent Care Staff members. The exceptional professionalism, demonstrated benevolent care for our patients and each other during these most challenging times has been meaningful. So it was decided to nominate the entire Urgent care team for the attentive care and support each team member brings to members/coworkers. Patients constantly come through giving many thanks and praises for our services. Even through the covid pandemic our team has maintained a cohesive glue of excellence. The tireless efforts working in the tent, braving the cold winter elements, and even entertaining pesky critters lost in the tent, in order to swab sick patients speaks volumes of this team's wonderful dedication to our members.
Kaisha Palmer, MIT MEDICAL STAFF/ URGENT CARE
MIT Medical Urgent Care
MIT Medical's Urgent Care department has ensured that MIT community was taken care of throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to work together as a team to support MIT Medical and the MIT community. Urgent Care is the first department most people come into contact with when they enter MIT Medical and the Patient Service Representatives have fielded numerous phone calls and questions in a supportive and caring fashion. Further, Urgent Care responds to all of the medical emergencies in the building. The medical assistants are caring and put the patients at ease and maintain workflows. The triage nurses and provider pool are highly talented and caring individuals who focus on patient-centered care. We have a great team with thoughtful leaders who make MIT Medical a wonderful place to work.
Lauren Couture, MIT Medical Urgent Care
MIT Pharmacy
I’d like to thank the MIT pharmacy for providing such great care to our patients. Everyday they show up and help despite the crazy days we are all living through. They have assisted with many campus things like the flu clinic and now with Covid vaccination. Cheers to the pharmacy team! Keep smiling and keep working hard.
Stacey , MIT MEDICAL
Marco Gomes and the IS&T Physical Security Team
Marco Gomes and the IS&T Physical Security Team at MIT have been an incredible and invisible resource to all of us on the MIT campus for almost a year of pandemic operations. Creating MIT's first campuswide wet of MIT ID card-linked access points, keeping maps linked on Covid Pass app current, and being available seemingly 24/7 when any of us encounters an issue getting in or out of campus. Thanks for being all-in on finding solutions and keeping your senses of humor to keep the campus accessible and safe for so many of us over the year!
Krystyn Van Vliet, Office of the Provost, Vice President for Research, Lincoln Laboratory
Shane Jeon
Shane has gone above and beyond to always make my phonecalls to MIT medical a little more personable and kind.

Frances Boyle
Frances is currently juggling three different roles at MIT. She is managing a high profile multi-million dollar project, Program Manager for the Utilities Department, and bridging the gap that was created by the loss of our treasured Director. Frances has continuously taken extra time to check in with all of her team members individually on our mental health, physical health and general well being. She has used her creativity to create zoom meetings where we both connect with each other but also have an opportunity to get physical exercise. Her genuine and sincere interest in her team has personally made me feel valued and more stable in these constantly changing times. Frances truly exemplifies the vision of the facilities department. She delivers exceptional customer service, is well respected, provides a safe and rewarding workplace environment and focuses on teamwork, innovation, and professionalism. I could not be more proud and grateful to work with Frances Boyle.
Cori, Facilities
Political Science Dept. Staff
These last 6 months have been really difficult due to the pandemic, as I got stuck outside of the US due to the travel ban.
The staff at my department really helped me get through it, solved all the problems, advised, and was very reactive.
So I'm very grateful for the team, as I realize they helped me and many others while their own lives were also caught in the turmoil.
Thanks!

Alison Sansone
Steve Ruggerio
Steve has gone way above and beyond the call of duty in managing our DLC operations during this unprecedented time. From helping our community members retrieve items from the building during shutdown, to getting people up and running on various remote access methods, to always being there when needed - he is a shining star and an example of the kind of person I'd like to be.
Mark Pearrow, Schwarzman School of Computing
Sergeant Mary Beth Riley and Detective Loren Montgomery
Well, they not only are willing to risk their lives for us and keep our campus safe every day, but they also go out of their way to help us with silly demands during the pandemic such as keeping our plants alive. I know they go around to different buildings watering plants for some people including me! So thank you for doing that and for all that you do for our community.
Karla Casey, Office of the President
