Private, locked room that accommodates one; walk down the 3-300 corridor and bear right at the Park Room for Innovation Education, and then take another right to find the room (across from the kitchen). This quiet room provides a chair, table, sink, refrigerator, counter (light switch is to the left of the entry), and a hospital-grade Medela Symphony breast pump. If using the pump provided, you must bring personal equipment, including membranes, clean tubing, breast shields, and collection bottles. There is a kitchen across the hall with a microwave for steam cleaning equipment. For use by the MIT Community. Private room that will accommodate two, located in the rear of the Ladies Lounge. Two Medela Symphony hospital-grade breast pumps are available for use (you must supply personal equipment such as clean tubing, breast shields and collection bottles) or bring your own pump. There's a sink and refrigerator in the lounge kitchen, which also has a microwave for steam cleaning equipment. There are sofas in the lounge, as well as a bathroom with shower. The lounge is kept locked, as it is on a public corridor. Private, locked room located near the women's restroom in the central foyer on the ground floor. Access to 76-154 is through 76-153. A Medela Symphony hospital-grade breast pump is available for use (you must supply personal equipment such as clean tubing, breast shields and collection bottles) or bring your own pump. There are four comfortable chairs and a power outlet located between two of the chairs. There is a sink and countertop space with more power outlets above the countertop, lockers and two refrigerators. For use by faculty, staff, and students at the Koch Institute. Located on the first floor of W59, this is a private, lockable room able to accommodate one user at a time. Users must provide their own pumping equipment; however, a comfortable chair and a side table are available for use along with basic cleaning supplies. W98-250 and W98-414

Located on both the 2nd and 4th floors of W98 (in the southwestern and southeastern corners of the building, respectively - both facing the Charles River) each conference room is a private, lockable room able to accommodate one user at a time. Users must provide their own pumping equipment; however, a comfortable chair and a side table are available for use along with basic cleaning supplies. There is a kitchen located on the western side of the floor that includes a refrigerator, sink, and microwave for steam cleaning. Room use is primarily intended for W98 staff members, however, guest use is available for visitors to the building. Due to space constraints, this room is a shared conference room/lactation room and can only be used for one purpose at a time. Rooms must be reserved in advance in order to prevent overlapping appointments. W98 employees may book time in the room via the Exchange calendar. Lactation rooms available through the science community

The School of Science houses several lactation rooms. Room 6-236 is open to any nursing mother in the School of Science and other rooms are for use by nursing women associated with a particular department. For specific information about the following rooms, contact the corresponding administrative officer.
