MIT offers eligible employees financial support for certain higher-education expenses through several education-related programs.

Tuition Assistance Plan

The Tuition Assistance Plan reimburses eligible tuition and fees for courses that help you to obtain, maintain, and improve the skills you need to develop your career at MIT. The Tuition Assistance Plan is not intended for professional development and training purposes.

Children's College Scholarship Plan

The Children's College Scholarship Plan offers grants for your dependent children to attend MIT and — for eligible staff and faculty hired before June 1, 1998 — other accredited universities.

Educational Loan Plan

MIT offers loans to eligible employees to help offset the financial burden of providing an undergraduate or graduate college education to eligible dependent children. 

Senior Caregiving Newsletter

Work-Life offers a monthly newsletter, Senior Caregiving: Resources and Support for You and Your Family, specifically for individuals who are taking care of adults or elder loved ones. It features an article on caregiving from Bright Horizons, as well as MIT resources that can help support you and your family.
