Our final honoree in the Outstanding Contributor category is Mary Ellen Sinkus, Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration in the School of Engineering.
Her core responsibilities include the general oversight and management of the administrative side of the School.
For context, the School has 2,500 people — which includes more than one third of the Institute's faculty and nearly half of all MIT students.
To sum up her accomplishments in a handful of words is extremely challenging, but here's a testimonial from a coworker: “Mary Ellen’s attitude is that she is there to help the team perform at the highest level. With her encyclopedic knowledge of financial and administrative systems across MIT, and her incredible work ethic, she gives her all to every task.”
