Dale Eastwood

Our first Excellence Award for Bringing out the Best goes to Dale Eastwood. He’s Information Systems Security Representative at the Aerospace and Missile Defense Divisions at Lincoln Laboratory. Dale brings out the best in his colleagues and in Lincoln Laboratory itself by consistently bringing out the best in himself.

Dale supports all groups in Division 9 and a handful in Division 3 that execute special programs on behalf of government sponsors. He ensures that overall information security is applied and enforced within 13 high-security operating environments for multiple classified systems and programs. It’s highly sensitive work, and Dale provides expert guidance to the Lab’s leadership, technical staff, systems administrators, and government sponsors.

This past year, he inspired his colleagues to join him in working tirelessly to ensure his program areas were prepared for a string of extremely crucial government inspections. Every single one went off without a hitch. Dale’s passion for excellence, his commitment to teamwork, his dedication to mentorship, and his ability to bring out the best in those who work along with him—have been significant catalysts for success at Lincoln Laboratory.
