Choosing a childcare provider is one of the most emotional and impactful decisions parents make in the early years. Whether you are returning to work, looking for socialization opportunities, or simply needing support, the process can feel overwhelming—especially if the timing isn’t ideal or your first choice falls through.

Join Cora D’Alessandro, M.A., IMH-E®, for a practical, compassionate workshop designed for parents of children under the age of 5. We will help you navigate the big decisions with clarity and confidence so that you can make informed choices and support your child’s wellbeing—no matter what the childcare journey looks like.

Benefits for you: peace of mind, better decision-making, and more confidence in your parenting choices.

Benefits for your child: a smoother transition, greater emotional security, and stronger developmental foundations.

After this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Identify the hallmarks of a high-quality childcare program, including caregiver qualifications, safety standards, developmental practices, and emotional climate
  • Evaluate your options realistically, including what to prioritize, what’s flexible, and how to ask the right questions
  • Handle less-than-ideal timing or availability, including what to do when your preferred program is full or the start date doesn’t align with your needs
  • Ease the emotional transition for both you and your child—prepare your child for separation, build trust in caregivers, and cope with guilt or anxiety

Presenter: Cora Megan D'Alessandro, M.A., IMH-E®; Parenting Teacher and Coach, Peace at Home Parenting Solutions
