Robert J. Bicchieri

Our next recipient, Robert J. Bicchieri, is a research specialist at MIT.nano.  Although more than 100 new students and postdocs come through the nano-fab lab every year, Bob is there for all of them when they need a hand with complex tools.

He's come to the aid of many a student in the eleventh hour when the equipment confounded them on the eve of submitting a PhD thesis or an important paper.

All students rave about Bob—and his coworkers and supervisors do as well. In the words of one admirer: “With his deep knowledge, hard work, and fruitful collaborations, Bob has contributed substantially to MIT.nano's state-of-the-art installations.”
