Navigating the Medicare application process can be overwhelming and confusing. However, it is important to understand how Medicare operates and the choices you have when planning for healthcare expenses in retirement. This course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Medicare while addressing common questions such as:

  • What exactly is Medicare?
  • Why is Medicare necessary?
  • When, where, and how should I apply for Medicare?
  • What are the associated costs of Medicare?
  • How can I optimize my use of Medicare?

Additionally, an MIT Retirement expert will offer insights into the specific health insurance options available to MIT employees upon retirement.
