All active and former employees: If you have a change to your name, home or work address, need a W-2, want to enroll in or change your direct deposit, or want to see vacation, sick, or leave time, visit the Personal Information Center.

 

MIT's Human Resources Officers (HROs) provide support and guidance on issues affecting work, job performance, annual reviews, training, hiring practices, leaves of absence, discipline, compensation, harassment or discrimination concerns, layoffs, reorganizations, and conflict resolution. Find your HRO and request help.

 

For on-campus recruiting and student employment, please contact MIT Career Advising.

 

Employment verification: If you are an MIT employee who is applying for a loan or credit card, signing a lease, undergoing a background check, or otherwise need proof of employment or income, you or your lender must contact MIT's employment verifier directly:

Request employment verification or email Payroll at payroll@mit.edu.

Loan forgiveness: If you are applying for student loan forgiveness, email Payroll at payroll@mit.edu.

Do not contact Human Resources for verifying employment or loan forgiveness.
