This workshop will address the unprecedented levels of distress, anxiety, and burnout that employees are experiencing as they navigate the many disruptions of the outside world. Finding ways to cope as crises persist is a necessity for emotional wellbeing. Using Dr. Charmain Jackman’s “3 M’s for Mental Wellness” framework, we will discuss culturally relevant, evidence-based stress reduction approaches that foster wellbeing. Participants will be able to:

  • Identify how crises impact their physical and emotional wellbeing;
  • Examine the neurobiology of the mind-body connection; and
  • Implement three evidence-based practices that foster healthy emotional wellbeing.
