MIT offers discounts for eligible employees on home, property, auto, and other liability insurance through Farmers Insurance Group®. You pay the full cost of these policies.
The discounts include up to a 26% discount on Massachusetts automobile insurance and up to a 25% discount on Massachusetts property insurance when you insure both automobile and property with Farmers®.
Special group rates also apply in other states on automobile, homeowner, and other property and liability insurance through Farmers®.
Eligibility
You are eligible for home and auto insurance discounts if you are paid by MIT, are appointed to work at MIT for at least three months, and work at least 50% of the normal full-time work schedule.
