We all believe that we pay too much in taxes—and many believe that some don’t pay enough! Yet, calculating and controlling one’s taxes is a complete mystery for most people. This session is intended to demystify the taxes we all pay by explaining in detail how income taxes work, what other taxes we pay, and how to properly plan for and control your taxes. We will clear away some of the myths and misunderstandings about taxes and provide basic tips on how to reduce and manage your tax burden both early in your career and as you near and enter retirement.

Presenter: Steve Dimitriou, A.I.F, C.P.F.A.; Managing Partner, Mayflower Advisors
