In this webinar, psychologist Lauren Dumont, Psy.D., will explore radical acceptance as a powerful, evidence-based skill for cultivating psychological resilience and deeper wellbeing. Radical acceptance is neither passive resignation nor approval of what is painful, but rather the intentional practice of fully acknowledging reality as it is, including the good, the hard, the uncertain, and the unwanted.
This webinar reframes acceptance as an active strength and a cornerstone of emotional flexibility. Participants will learn the psychological foundations of radical acceptance, why resistance to reality so often amplifies suffering, and how acceptance can paradoxically create greater clarity, agency, and peace. The webinar will include practical skills, applied examples, and concrete takeaways that participants can integrate into daily life—especially during moments when acceptance feels most difficult.
Presenter: Lauren Dumont, Psy.D.; Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director, Kendall Psychological Associates
