It’s time to go deeper than literacy. Financial wellness means understanding your financial picture, creating financial plans in alignment with your values, and ensuring that your emotions are balanced when you engage with money. This workshop will help participants understand the basics of financial psychology, including identifying those pesky spending triggers, and how to identify the values that matter most in their financial lives. Participants will learn to engage with money in a more compassionate way.
This webinar is for:
- People who want to understand their financial wellness holistically
- Individuals looking to identify their values and align their financial goals and plans accordingly
- Anyone interested in understanding the psychological aspects of their financial behaviors
Key takeaways:
- Differentiate financial literacy from financial wellness
- Understand how our relationship with money is shaped by forces beyond individual efforts
- Identify individual values to inform better spending and saving habits that can be applied immediately
- Understand DOSE spending (reviewing how dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins impact spending)
Two copies of Lindsay Bryan-Podvin's book, The Financial Anxiety Solution, will be given away to randomly selected participants who attend the webinar. A brief form will be shared during the session to enter the drawing.
Presenter: Lindsay Bryan-Podvin, L.M.S.W.; Owner and Founder, Mind Money Balance
