This presentation reviews estate planning in the event that you become unable to make your own medical and financial decisions during your life, or have a child who will be unable to do so as they transition to adulthood. We will also discuss when guardianship and conservatorship may be necessary to manage someone’s medical and financial decisions for them. Finally, this webinar will review first-party and third-party supplemental needs trusts as a way to protect and manage assets for a disabled beneficiary, while allowing them to maintain access to public benefit programs.

Presenter: Patricia C. D’Agostino, J.D.; Partner, Margolis & Bloom, LLP
