On a very tight VIP AV set up with too little time and not enough labor, (Due to Gross Mismanagement), I over zealously tried to persuade my co-workers to set up the gear as fast as possible, (something we all agreed to do). At times my co-workers seemed unsure about what to do next. I found this frustrating and if I saw someone not doing something, I'd ask, "What are you doing?" If they had no answer, I said, "Then go do this." My tone was stern and demanding with a twist of "you can do better" disappointment.
My amazing and wise colleague, Jim Patterson, persuaded me to go Home and cool off. I resisted, but Jim Patterson pointed out that I had basically already done my job. The show was all set, would go smoothly and I did not really need to be there. SomI took Jim's advice and went Home.
Thanks, Jim Patterson. I'm Buyin'
