"The first recipient of the Excellence Award for Serving the Client award, Michael Doiron, is a graphic artist in the Advanced Concepts and Technologies Group in the Air and Missile Defense Division at MIT Lincoln Lab. Mike works closely with engineers and managers to transform highly technical concepts into clear, concise, attention-getting graphics that powerfully communicate the leading-edge work of Lincoln Lab.
His nominators talk about Mike’s incredible skill, tireless dedication, and infinite good nature. They tell of how he stayed late or came in to work at the crack of dawn—always without complaint—to help colleagues deliver the most effective possible presentations about their research.
As one nominator said, “Mike can turn a vague idea into a powerful presentation because he strives to understand not just the technical work. He goes above and beyond to understand the individual who will be presenting the material and the sponsors who will be viewing the presentations.”
Another colleague noted, “This guy is a prince. Mike Doiron deserves some kind of coronation.”
