Our final Innovative Solutions award goes to Jane White of Human Resources. Jane is Manager of Training Infrastructure and head of the Learning Services Team. Her nominators talk about the transformation from training before Jane to training after Jane. Before Jane, training at MIT was scattered across MIT cyberspace and not easily accessible by learners and providers. But now, because of her outstanding contributions, MIT learners now have more intuitive and user-friendly functions. The new MIT Learning Center is a platform for training provided by various Institute departments, as well as central training records – and one training catalogue. Her work simplified the previous training landscape and significantly reduced required maintenance and support. Maybe most impressive of all, Jane White accomplished this through a wide collaborative effort engaging partners, advisors, and stakeholders across the Institute.
