College Admissions Tests: When and How to Start

Presented by Bright Horizons College Coach

If you have a high schooler at home, figuring out when to start preparing for college admissions tests—and a timeline for testing—can feel like a puzzle. Whether your student is test-ready in the middle of 11th grade, or a bit later, he or she might have to fit in Subject Tests and AP or IB exams, in addition to the SAT or ACT. This workshop will help you map out a timeline for your student to prepare for and take these tests. You will learn:

  • When your student should take diagnostic tests
  • The best time to start test prep
  • How and when to schedule the PSAT, SAT, and ACT, as well as AP, IB, and Subject Tests
  • Deadlines for students with disabilities
