ESL Program Seeks Volunteers

September 11, 2018

The MIT English as a Second Language Program for Service Employees is looking for volunteers to tutor night shift Facilities Dept. custodians. No experience is required, just a good command of English and an interest in helping individuals whose first language is not English.

This is an opportunity to make a real and positive difference in the lives of your colleagues. Help them build confidence, become more productive in their jobs, and perhaps open up further opportunities for advancement. Tutoring takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 - midnight beginning Tues., September 25, 2018. The semester runs through the week of December 14.

For more information or to volunteer, contact Nancy Kelly, Coordinator, at esl-admins@mit.edu. Learn more about the ESL program at MIT.
